Scenergia

Three products, one world.

Each one keeps its own name and its own site. They share a production file, so what one of them knows about your film the other two know as well.

SkenicDiscover. The physical world.

Find what the scene needs.

Props, set dressing, vehicles and locations. Skenic breaks the script down, finds the suppliers who have what it asks for, and keeps the production hub in one place.

  • Breaks the script down into what each scene needs.
  • Finds props, set dressing, vehicles and locations, and the suppliers who hold them.
  • Keeps the production hub in one place, so the department works from one list.

  • Seventeen studios, one for each kind of printed thing a set asks for.
  • Period-correct when the story is set in a real decade, fictional when the brand must not exist.
  • Sheets come out ready for the printer, the cutter and the camera.

  • Plays messages, calls and notifications on the phones and screens in shot.
  • The actor can touch it: the on-camera UI responds.
  • Cued from the director's tablet, so it lands on the line, take after take, and resets for the next one.

What they share

One record per production: title, year, country, town, the firm at the centre of the story, places, cast, and how strict the period has to be. Chronotype's Scene Kit writes it. Every Chronotype studio reads it. Skenic reads it for the physical world and Mombie for the digital one.

From the Scene Kit you can copy the prop list for Skenic and the screens for Mombie, with the production file attached. Paste it on the other side and carry on.
